CLAUDETTE IMELDA PRESENTANZ

September 2,1943 – January 26, 2026

After a graceful battle with dementia, our number one Mum, Baboo, Sister, favourite Auntie and friend passed peacefully with her family by her side.

Leaving behind many family members, daughters Jennifer (Richard), Amanda; grandchildren Keanen and Harlie, sister Colette (Jack), brothers Gilles (Madeline), Guy (Betty), sister-in-law June (Ron); all her beloved nieces and nephews, many other family members and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Brian, mother Yvonne, father Hormidas, sister Paula, and brothers Johnny and Noel.

Claudette worked as a hairstylist for 60 plus years and loved every minute of it. Her clients and colleagues were some of her dearest friends, and she loved spending time making everyone feel and look their best. She was also a brilliant artist, leaving behind many treasures for family to enjoy for years to come.

The family would like to thank Dr. Julie Lamb, Dr. Hasdan, Cindy and the team at Seven Oaks Geriatric day hospital and the palliative team both in the field and at Riverview Health Center for the impeccable care during Mum’s journey. Also, Amanda Cross from The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba for all the guidance and check-ins over the last few years. Very special thanks goes to Gemma, Mary and Liza who lovingly cared for Mum at home and were quickly adopted into our family. We could not have done any of this without your support.

As per Mum’s wishes there will not be a funeral.

In lieu of flowers we encourage donations be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Palliative Care Unit at Riverview Health Center.
